Delicious fried shrimp and flounder. I actually liked the French and slaw. Hushpuppies are tasty. Casual atmosphere, where you sit as long as you want and enjoy having a "picnic" with friends and family

The food never disappoints. I've been coming here for at least 30 years. It amazes me that the gentleman that checks you out has been there the whole time. He is just as kind and attentive since I first met him in the 90's. My son is 30 now and I can remember him as a toddler, me taking him to the NC Seafood Restaurant for our mommy and me date night. When my son is in town, he still tries to make it there to get his shrimp.

Everything is fresh, hot, and timely. They give you plenty of sauces and the portions are huge. My bf and I could've easily just shared one platter in the future. I'm thinking of coming back and trying their cold shrimp. Owners were sweet!

Best fried shrimp in NC, and at a crazy good price! Simple breading, fresh delicious shrimp. And there’s so much more than just the shrimp! Most of the seafood you get at the NC coast isn’t local (crazy, I know!) but as far as I know, everything at this eatery is. It’s so good that I never feel like I need to eat seafood when I go down to the coast. I usually sit outside because the tables inside are generally full, but I have been eating here for many years and never had a bad meal.

Great place to eat seafood! You really get your money's worth! If you are looking for a quick bite to eat, this is the place. They have picnic tables to eat on throughout the restaurant, which can cause issues if you have a large or small group. I shared my table with a total stranger, and we had the best conversation! A lot of people got their food to go, but l wanted to sit and relax and enjoy my meal. Happy eating!!
